It has been my dream for MANY a year to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune, so imagine my excitement when I hear they are coming to OK for contestant tryouts! I was beyond thrilled. I blocked off my oh so busy stay-at-home mom schedule to have my chance....my chance at "THE DREAM." The crummy part was, it was all done on a lottery basis, meaning you only got an
interview if your name was drawn out of a box. For those of you who may not know, this is the worst possible case for me, as I am the unluckiest person I know. I NEVER win anything. The only time I can ever remember my name being drawn out of a box was when I was the first name drawn out for jury duty. Lucky, huh? As you may have already guessed. My name was never drawn, not once, not ever. I was there for a total of 7 hours in a 2 day period with nothing to show for it, except for this captivating pic of me next to the
Wheelmobile. I was so heart broken. Kyle thought it was a waste of a weekend. I on the other hand knew that if I didn't at least try, I would have always wondered what if. Now I know, nothing, absolutely nothing. Do not worry though friends, I will continue the quest until it is accomplished.... the dream of spinning that wheel, having Pat congratulating me on my win, Vanna cheering me on, and calling those infamous letters, R S T L N E.
